Eastern Colorado Springs Homes:

Peyton

Vast, open country with distant front range views are what come to mind when one thinks of this small town. It is approximately 30 miles East of Colorado Springs. This area is mostly dominated by farm and ranch land. Also, nearby, off of Highway 24, are the areas of Falcon, Calhan, Ellicot and Ramah.

Falcon

About 14 miles NE of Colorado Springs, this once quiet community has grown exponentially over the last 20-30 years. Thought of as a “town” this suburb is a community in El Paso County. Some known suburban developments in Falcon are Antler’s Ridge, The Meadows, Meridian Ranch and Woodmen Hills.

Powers Corridor

Powers used to be a whole lot of nothing out East. Now it is a hub for national franchise businesses, containing almost every amenity you could ever want. It is home to an IMAX movie theater, a minor league baseball stadium and outdoor & strip malls. Powers Blvd. houses are mostly contemporary architecture from the late 90s and early 2000s.

Stetson Hills

This area is  close to Petersen Air Force Base and Powers Corridor shopping. Most of the homes in this area are newer, built from the 2000s and on. It is, also, notable for Stetson Hills Open Space.

Banning Lewis Ranch

Like most Master Planned Communities in Eastern Colorado Springs, Banning Lewis Ranch is a neighborhood you would rarely have to leave. They have some of their own schools, a community center with pools and fitness spaces, a water park, trails and playgrounds. They have a variety of new home styles and are supported by the builders Classic Homes, Covington Homes and Oakwood Homes.

Springs Ranch & Cimmaron Hills

Springs Ranch is just East of the Powers Corridor, West of Springs Ranch Golf Club and North of Cimmaron Hills. Springs Ranch Golf Club is a  links style golf course that is open to the public, year round. It is in a great school district and includes Springs Ranch Elementary School in District 49. Cimmaron Hills is an area just North of Peterson Air Force Base and the Colorado Springs Airport. It’s located close to the many amenities of Powers Corridor (Highway 21). It’s, also, conveniently located near E. Platte, a main East/West thoroughfare and Highway 24, so you could get to other areas of town quickly.

For outdoor adventure or just a lazy day at a park, visit Homestead Ranch Regional Park, Old Farm Park, Sunset Mesa Open Space or Cottonwood Creek Park. For retail therapy, you can find just about anything on Academy Boulevard. And don’t forget the Chapel Hills Mall and the Citadel Mall!
