Northern Colorado Springs Homes:

Northern Colorado Springs

This area is growing quickly and is one of the most trendy areas to buy and sell. There are quite a few new build and master plan communities in Colorado Springs North. Northern Colorado Springs is defined by Northeast, Briargate and Northgate. Many of the national builders (and some local builders) in Colorado Springs North have master built and planned communities in Flying Horse, Wolf Ranch, Cordera, Pine Creek, Meridian Ranch, Forest Lake, Lake of the Rockies, The Farm and Sanctuary Pointe.

Briargate

Originally, this neighborhood began planning in 1995. The area is very large and encompasses several new build communities being developed through today. The area is popular for it’s traditional, suburban neighborhoods that are in award winning Academy School District 20. The convenience of high end and retail shopping at The Promenade Shops at Briargate and Chapel Hills Mall, are the cherry on top.

Flying Horse

With the combination of master planned communities to custom, million dollar homes, and breathtaking views of the front range, this luxury area has it all. The neighborhood includes a private resort with pools, athletic clubs and a spa. Guests can be pampered at the Flying Horse Lodge. The respected builders of this area are Alliance Builders, Classic Homes, Vantage Homes, Saddletree Homes and Goetzmann Custom Homes.

Gleneagle

This delightful, established suburban area is just North of Colorado Springs and South of Monument. Gleneagle still has some planned communities being developed and is in Award Winning Academy School District 20. The neighborhoods in this area are in a prime location, with great schools, opportunities for outdoor adventure and easy access to shopping and amenities.

Northgate

Larger lots, newer homes, a few long-established ranch & horse properties and a lot of exciting development still to be done, Northgate is a suburban paradise. It is located starting at the entrance of the Air Force Academy and heads East from there. The considerable cultivation of the area now has premium shopping, well-known restaurants, business parks, movie theaters, cushy hotels and a wide range of other city comforts. And there is more coming!

Black Forest

Black Forest is named so because the area is populated by so many Ponderosa Pines. From a distant it looks like a black forest. Black Forest homes offer a feeling of seclusion, yet it isn’t more than 10 minutes away from city amenities. There are, also, traditional, suburban neighborhoods in this region.

Monument & Tri-Lakes

Monument is a city North of Colorado Springs and is an excellent place to live for big city commuters. To the West of this town is Pike National Forest. If you want to live in an outdoor activity haven, this is it! Popular neighborhoods in the area are Woodmoor, Kings Deer, Jackson Creek and Palmer Lake. Tri-Lakes (which includes Monument) has 3 lakes: Monument Lake, Palmer Lake and Lake Woodmoor.

Larkspur & Castle Rock

Larkspur is a forested area North of Monument and has a popular Renaissance Festival in the summer. Castle Rock is favored for it’s retail shopping outlets and is about half way between Colorado Springs and Denver.
